Chris DeSimone

A native of New York, Chris moved to Tucson in 1988. He is a graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. About 10 years ago, Chris formed his own marketing and business therapy company, Proven Partners, LLC. He has worked with a variety of companies in the state.

His recent work with a local 99-year old transportation and tour company has led to some new adventures. Chris has blazed a trail in tourism with his local cuisine tours, a fact-finding border tour and his work across the border into Mexico. His Border Crisis: Fact and Fictiion tour won “Best New Tour” award at the Gray Line International meeting in Paris. His cuisine tour work in South Tucson, led to collaboration with Tucson City Councilwoman Romero on revitalizing the South 12th Avenue corridor. This recently led the Metropolitan Pima Alliance Common Ground Award. The cuisine tour is the basis of the Chris’ “Best 23 miles of Mexican Food” campaign, which is one of the cornerstones of the Visit Tucson’s marketing plan.

Chris coaches a U16 girls club soccer team that plays in the Pima County Junior Soccer League. He is married, has two amazing kids and a dog named Ella is very smart.
